Time Magazine Lists Several Must See YA Book-to-Movie Adaptations of 2015

2014 has been a year of young adult book-to-movie adaptation releases. Book-to-movie adaptations are becoming increasingly popular nowadays among the film industry.  It is no doubt that they are quite a success in the industry since these book-to-movie adaptations has already drawn many book fans. However, not only have these films caught readers’ attention but they have also caught other critically acclaimed attention such as Time magazine.

Time magazine has notably listed several book-to-movie adaptations that they must see in 2015.

The first movie to note on Time magazine’s list is Mockingjay Part 2. This is the film’s final installment in the Hunger Games series by Susan Collins. Mockingjay Part 1 has been proven to be the highest grossing film of 2014 with nearly $319 million according to InquisitrMockingjay Part 2 is set to be released on November 20th of this year.

The second movie worth to mention is Paper Towns written by John Green. Ever since Green’s first successful book-to-movie adaptation, The Fault in Our Stars, it is not shocking to many fans that his next successfully written book, Paper Towns, would be optioned up for a film adaptation. This movie is set to be released on June 5th.

Unfortunately, no official movie trailer has been released for Paper Towns, however, John Green has kindly given us a tour around the Paper Towns set on his vlog channel!

Last but not least, Fifty Shades of Grey, has been mentioned on Time magazine’s list as well. Although this book contains mature content, it has already caught many people’s attention. There is no doubt that this movie would become a successful hit when it comes out in theaters on February 13.
