LA Times Book Festival Noteworthy Authors and More

la times book festival

The Los Angeles Times Book Festival is hosted every year at the USC campus to bring book lovers together to celebrate a variety of authors! The LA Times Book Festival is open to the public and will be held from April 11th-12th. Every year, there are special performers, food trucks, sponsors, authors, celebrities, and more that come together to celebrate books!

We’ve been constantly checking the website for any updates on the schedule, and they finally posted the schedule for 2015! You can view it here.

Here are some of my (Ellen) noteworthy authors that caught my attention:

Keegan Allen, Leigh Bardugo, Sarah Dessen, Jenny Han, David Levithan, Ken Liu, Marie Lu, Tahereh Mafi, Danielle Paige, Ransom Riggs, Rick Riordan, Neal Shusterman, Margaret Stohl, and Suzanne Young.

These are some authors that I thought you guys might be interested in. But, here are some of authors that I absolutely MUST meet at the LA Times Book Festival:

Jenny Han, Ken Liu, Marie Lu, Tahereh Mafi, Danielle Paige, Ransom Riggs, and Rick Riordan.

Last year’s list was a bit longer because the Festival had authors such as: Marissa Meyer, John Green, and Veronica Roth. Unfortunately, they are not here this year which I already predicted because it seems like I was just not meant to meet some of my favorite authors. It’s okay though, there’s always a next year right?

Check out the list of schedule and tell us who you want to see the most at the Festival. Also, comment down below if you are going to the LA Times Book Festival so we could meet you!

I would like to get Rick Riordans autograph for my son , his biggest fan. Is that possible?

  5. I believe you can. After the conversations, authors usually have book signings. Conversations usually last for an hr & book signings are usually for an hr too. I recommend getting to the book signing early so your son could get his signature.

  6. Yes. A line will be there. Just wait patiently ! 🙂
