Jeff Daniels recently joined the cast of the Divergent series movie as David. According to The Wrap (covering Hollywood), Bill Skarsgard is currently in negotiations with Lionsgate as well. There has been no comment by the representative for Lionsgate as to who Skarsgard is going to play in the 2 part adaptation for Allegiant yet.
Douglas Wick, Lucy Fisher, and Pouya Shahbazian will be producing “Allegiant-Part 1” expected to hit theaters on March 18th, 2016.
